I am Portuguese and have been a missionary for 27 years.
In 2018 I came to live in Dapaong, in northern Togo, where we are building a dream: a missionary family for the world.
When I was 23 years old, it was clear to me that I wanted to form a family that would be a leaven of communion. For that I was looking for a boyfriend and Jesus came out to meet me, inviting me to form, with Him, a large human family where each one of us would feel loved and valued and from there we would all live as brothers and sisters.
Now in Togo, this mission is a new challenge, because here ethnic diversity, more than richness, is often seen as a threat. Our missionary work is to offer each person an encounter with the Love of God that brings about a fraternal experience between the Moba and Ewe ethnic groups, between blacks and whites, between men and women....
